To talk about whether art therapy may be right for you or your child, to schedule an appointment, or for more information call (817) 921-2401.
We receive referrals from individuals, teachers, parents, school counselors and other mental health professionals. We also receive referrals from and work with local educational, social service, mental health, medical, and other community agencies.
Medical receipts are provided so that individuals can file with their insurance providers. Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIPS are accepted. For those without insurance coverage, fees will be based on a sliding scale.

Painting the Possibilities: Teen Social Skills Group
Mondays 6:00-7:00pm
In this supportive art therapy group teens (13-17 year olds) participate in structured art activities designed to help them identify and express their feelings, enhance their social and problem solving skills, increase self-esteem, re-direct negative thinking, and help them to make positive choices. Fees for group art therapy are based on a sliding scale. Medicaid and CHIPS accepted. Call to schedule an appointment.
Coping Creatively: A Group for Young Women
Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm, $25/session
In this group, participants will deal with common issues facing young women such as assertiveness in relationships (personal and professional), empowerment, setting boundaries, positive self-image, life transitions and daily life stressors through a variety of creative processes, including art and psychodramatic experiences. Mondays 6:00-7:00pm

Creative Expressions: A Program for Home-Schooled Children
Mondays 9:00-10:00 am
$15 per session
In this experiential group, participants will have an opportunity to engage in the creative process while exploring art materials, music and drama. This small group (limited to 6 participants) is designed for home-schooled children ages 7-12 and will focus on socialization and creative play while helping to express feelings, increasing self-esteem and practicing positive choices. Therapeutic Arts Program
The Art of Being Social
June 13th to July 31st (6 sessions)

The Art Station is offering a 6-week social skills group for children with special needs such as communicative disorders, chronic illnesses, transplant patients, developmental delays or diagnoses such as ADHD, anxiety or depression. Groups will be led by Art Station staff members who are licensed therapists and professional art therapists. These groups will utilize art therapy principles and techniques while promoting improved social skills functioning. A Summer Art Show will conclude the program!
The groups will be grouped by the developmental ages below. Clients appropriate for these groups must be able to maintain an attention span for at least 30 minutes, follow simple instructions, respond to redirection appropriately, and have developmentally appropriate verbal and physical skills to engage with group members and the art materials.
