Rickie Harvath (1947)

In his own words...

Born April 24th, 1947 a 9 pound baby boy with green eyes and red hair to a Hungarian father and Scottish/English mother. Always alone but never lonely. Extremist, Idealist, Dreamer, yet logical at least on some level. Wanting to co-mingle with the realm of beauty. Prefers all things natural. Loves the setting sun and twilight time. Has written a good deal of poetry not yet published. Hobbies have been a lifetime of curiosity and serious study of literature, philosophy, aesthetics, psychology, and theology.  Wanting only to help create beauty and earn a living while hopefully living a long and healthy life. All work is original and creative, sometimes leaning towards the surreal.

Began painting in 1969 only to abort for family considerations. The responsibilities of raising a son alone pushed painting aside. Began again in 1986 and by 1988 painting became a full-time occupation to which I am totally committed.
