CEU: 3.0 hours
Are you interested in using art with your clients? Are crayons, markers, and paper the only art media you are comfortable with? Then this is the workshop for you! Participants will leave with a basic understanding of material properties, their appropriateness in therapeutic interventions, and the basics on what you can learn from child and teen artwork and how to effectively use art as an assessment tool with clients including developmental milestones and other emotional/diagnostic indicators.
The group will be facilitated by Jane Avila, LCSW, ATR-BC. No previous art experience is needed. All materials will be provided.
Due to space limitations, workshops will be limited to 10 participants.
