2009 Parade of Playhouses: CASAs Around The World
The Art Station will be partnering with Thos. S. Byrne, Ltd. to help create a “Swiss Chalet” to be raffled off during the annual fundraiser for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children – CASA of Tarrant County. Come see the finished project on display May 15-30, 2009 at Ridgmar Mall.

We had a wonderful time pairing up with Thos. S. Byrne, Ltd. to create the “Secret Garden Cottage” for the 2008 Parade of Playhouses: Storybook Lane.

2008 Tarrant County Buddy Walk
The Art Station joining forces with the Down Syndrome Partnership of Tarrant County and Green Oaks School to make this the biggest celebration of Down Syndrome that Tarrant County has ever seen!

 
 

The Art Station Welcomes New Therapist
Ms. Christina Chou joined The Art Station in August and is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and brings a variety of experiences working with children and adults. To read more about Christina, click HERE.

The Seeds Have Been Planted…
Our first-ever fundraising event was a success! Our Garden Party event raised $23,000 client services. A special thank you to our Palette Partners who have made pledges for continued support over the next few years. The Art Station is honored by the generosity of our community.

The 8th Annual Thos. S. Byrne Charity Golf Tournament Benefits The Art Station
The annual event is attended by over 300 players representing the best in the construction industry and all proceeds benefit mental health services for children in Tarrant County. The Art Station is honored to be the recipient of proceeds raised from this year’s event. We thank all who participate in and sponsor the event and continue to be grateful for the support and generosity of Thos. S. Byrne Construction and its employees.

Do you have things around the house that you are no longer using? The Art Station is always willing to accept donations of new or used materials, including art supplies, crafting supplies, fabrics, beads and costume jewelry, and magazines.  If you have items that you would like to donate, please contact us by clicking HERE

 
 

Summer Therapeutic Arts Program
A 6-week social skills group for children with special needs such as communicative disorders, chronic illness, transplant patients, developmental delays as well as ADHD, anxiety or depression. For more information and to register, click HERE.
